Shannon Holmes

1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
I’m a normal, everyday teenager and the smallest things make me laugh, even without exerting that much effort. I like to think that I have a great sense of humor!

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I consider myself both clean and messy, depending on the situation. Honestly, I can be messy when doing my hair and trying out different styles. I also feel as though I am a clean person because I can’t go to sleep at night with a messy room. My room must be clean before I go to bed every night.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
I still have this fear as of today -- a fear of spiders and bees. When I was about five years old, we had a beehive outside our house, and I used to hear the bees buzzing in my ears all the time. That fear was so profound that I would still hear them buzzing in my ears, even when I wasn’t outside.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
For me the best topping/ ice cream combination has Oreo cookies, hot fudge, chocolate chips, and a brownie. In the past, I worked at Cold Stone Creamery and enjoyed mixing new ice cream flavors and combinations. I found this one to be my favorite combination.

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
I consider myself an extrovert; I am most myself when I am in position to be confident, energetic and social. I love making lasting memories with my family, community and friends. With that being said, I am most confident with the feeling of achievement and self-satisfaction. When I achieve my goals of tumbling in cheerleading and receiving an A on a test, I am most satisfied.
