Juliana McKee - Miss Teen International® 2010 - Preliminary Evening Gown Winner
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
Stand. I believe that everyone should stand for something that they’re passionate about. Stand for ideas, stand for values, stand up for your loved ones, stand for something, anything! And when obstacles knock you down, always stand up because the only failure in life is staying down.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Confidence! Confidence is behind every smile, laugh, and joyful moment. One who is confident in themselves, their appearance, their accomplishments, and their abilities always projects true beauty. I am a believer that beauty comes from the inside out.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
This year I was awarded the Gold Presidential Service Award, signed by President Obama, for performing over 250 hours of volunteer service. I am proud of this because it shows me that, even as a college student, I can still make a difference in my community!
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Monday! Many people dread Mondays because it marks the end of the weekend and the beginning of a new work/school week. I look at Mondays as a fresh start and a new chance to make my mark on the world and continue to learn and grow as an individual.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
My family!!!! They are behind me in everything I do and I feel so incredibly blessed for that. They have been in my corner through every hardship, every crazy dream, every failure, and every success. My family has molded me into the person that I am proud to be today.
