Jules Fletcher - Miss Teen International 2015

1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
The outdoors has always been a part of my life. Growing up in the Natural State we have the opportunity to enjoy swimming in many beautiful lakes. I started jumping off cliffs into the lake at age two. My mom always called me her little mermaid because I loved being in the water. I would swim until my fingers and toes looked like raisins. Making memories with my with my family and friends is unforgettable.

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
We have so many great cooks in our family it makes healthy eating quite a challenge! When I was a child I stood on a chair over the stove to help my grandmother cook. Every time I smell bacon, I am brought back to mornings with my grandfather when he made chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancakes and bacon. I extend an invitation for dinner where my specialty is spaghetti and tacos. Cooking brings people together.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
Even as a child I was known as an "old soul." To this day I watch “I Love Lucy” with a cup of coffee every morning and my favorite music would have to come from the Rat Pack or The Four Seasons. History is my favorite subject and I have always said I wanted to travel back to every decade to experience mainstream life and to witness my parents, grandparents, and ancestors in action.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
My hometown is an important part of my childhood. I have been volunteering to help others since as long as I can remember! My family instilled these values from an early age. "Making a Difference through Community Service" is my inspiration. Whether I hand out meals at a soup kitchen, clean up litter or visit children in the hospital, I am always encouraging others to be the change they want to see in the world!

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
My childhood revolved around the world of competitive cheerleading. I started cheering at the age of six. Over the years I gained new skills as well as lifelong friends. I learned how to be disciplined, hardworking and organized. These are big factors in being a part of a successful team! I am still working on incorporating these skills in my life today as a High School cheerleader, state titleholder, friend and daughter. Woo Go Arkansas!
