1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
At the age of 6, I started displaying signs of deep depression. At this time I had no idea why, I had what I was taught to think was a “perfect” childhood. Little did anyone know I was being sexually abused. I grew up having no idea that what was happening to me was wrong and not “normal.” My story has become my mission to empower young children to stand up and say no.

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Very few people know I had a weight issue when I was a little girl. Because of this I started dancing and have continued since I been three years old. Dancing is an active and fun way to express my emotions and let me feel free. It has also allowed me to form a tight group of friends that I have known for the last fifteen years.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
I love to travel and learn about new cultures. Traveling to twelve different countries, I have been introduced to different ways of living, different foods to eat and different languages to communicate. Traveling abroad has taught me a sense of appreciation for many of the luxuries we take for granted living in the United States, such as our right to education, our clean water and environment, and the safety we have here in the country.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Camp Robindel has been a second home for me since I been 8 years old. It has taught me teamwork, leadership skills, and how to survive in the great outdoors. Camp has taught me to overcome my biggest fears, like my fear of heights by cliff diving off a 90 ft cliff. I learned I can overcome anything while making some of my best friends.

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
My mom has always been a positive influence in my life and her passion for horses led me to horseback riding. I have been competing since I was six years old and have made it to the top ten in the national finals horseback riding competition. Caring for my horses has taught me responsibility, passion and discipline.
