1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
I would choose Utah because of the amazing weather, and kind hearted people. However, traveling has positively impacted my life more than I can ever express. This year I have been blessed to visit Puerto Rico on a humanitarian trip and will be leaving for another service trip to Thailand, and I cannot wait to embrace and experience a new culture. Yet, I’m always glad to come home to the beautiful red rocks of southern Utah.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
While at the zoo in San Francisco, the bright pink flamingo exhibit caught my eye, mesmerizing me to the point of leaning closer and placing my weight on the fence. Soon after I found myself falling into foggy water with flamingos surrounding me. Although it was a little embarrassing i’m glad I fell into the Flamingo exhibit rather than the alligator attraction.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
As an national ambassador for Natural High, I will continue to educate youth on the harmful side effects of addiction, and what it means to “Live Naturally High”. By continuing to speak to youth worldwide, and providing support groups, I will lower youth addiction, while empowering them to live successful lifestyles. Teaching dance classes to youth has helped me promote my platform and the American Heart Association by encouraging healthy lifestyles and remembering #lifeiswhy.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
While traveling across the world doing humanitarian work, and also speaking with youth to better their lifestyles, I have come to realize that beauty is much more than what we see and more about the journey that it takes to get there. One of my favorite quotes is by Helen Keller which explains beauty perfectly. “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart. “
